# Baby Shower!

Hello all ❤️.

My best friend is discussing arranging my baby shower. I’m a teacher, so are most of my friends and the best time to do one would be October half-term. The only thing is, I’d only be 26+2 weeks pregnant! Is this far too early? I don’t really want to go into the November/December months as they’re super busy. On top of that, I have teaching to contend with!

Is it weird to have a baby shower at 26 weeks? Am I tempting fate?!

Has anyone had/had friends who had them this early?

I am doing mine in 2 weeks too, as later on it will be very busy for me and most my friends too. Plus we want to do it in our garden and the months November/December is cold for this.

I’m planning a baby shower on Halloween so it will be spooky themed I’ll be 29+1 weeks so not sure if it matters really tbh.

It’s not too early. Your baby can survive outside of the womb from 24 weeks. I definitely wouldn’t have one in December.

I’m having mine at the end of the month when I am 25 weeks, my family organised it and wanted it to be nicer weather so it’s super early, but my family has a history of preeclampsia and premature births so better safe than sorry by having it earlier in my opinion 😅 x
